Overview of NTU International Education
Nantong University (NTU) was founded in 1912. It originated from the Private Nantong Medical Specialized School and Nantong Textile Specialized School which was founded by Zhang Jian, a famous modern industrialist and educator. In China University Evaluation 2022 of the China Academy of Management Science, Nantong University is ranked 106th. In ESI Comprehensive ranking of Chinese universities, it ranked 114th.

Overview of the School of Math & Stats
We at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Nantong University are committed to excellence in both teaching and research. We are proud to offer an academic Master's program in Mathematics and a professional Master's program in Applied Statistics, both accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In 2023, we were honored to be designated as a Statistical Science Research Base in Jiangsu Province, further strengthening our leadership in the field of statistical research.
We have developed a range of state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, including mathematical modeling laboratories, a supercomputing center, micro-teaching classrooms, and discussion rooms. In addition, we have established multiple high-quality professional practice bases, providing our students with abundant opportunities for hands-on experience and in-depth learning. On the international cooperation front, our undergraduate Applied Statistics program for mainland students has partnered with the University of Sussex in the UK to launch a Joint Training Program for Credit Recognition between Chinese and Foreign Universities. The program's first cohort began last year, showcasing our proactive efforts and achievements in advancing international education collaboration.

Mathematics (Academic Master’s Degree)
